L-gamma-Glutamide Nitroanilide
|
| GNA is used as a substrate in the assay of gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (EC 2.3.2.2). GNA will react with Glycylglycine in the presence of gamma-GT to produce gamma-Glutamyl-glycylglycide and p-Nitroaniline. The gamma-GT activity is directly proportional to the amount of p-Nitroaniline liberated per unit of time (Szasz, G., Clin. Chem., 15, 124, 1969).
